Grand Conclusion of Model United Nations Conference (MUN-2026) at CMS

Lucknow: The three-day Model United Nations Conference (MUN-2026), organised by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I, concluded today with a prize distribution ceremony on the school premises. The third and final day of the conference was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Ranu Chaudhary, Additional Superintendent of Police, CBI, Lucknow, who lit the ceremonial lamp. In his address, Chaudhary described the conference as a highly innovative programme that effectively broadens students’ global perspective.More than 250 student participants from various reputed schools of Lucknow took part in MUN-2026, presenting insightful, articulate, and impactful speeches while engaging in meaningful discussions on pressing global issues. Their participation clearly reflected that the younger generation is capable of thoughtful analysis and possesses the ability to offer constructive solutions to global challenges.

The day began with dynamic discussions conducted through various committees, where students represented different countries following the format of the United Nations. Committees included the United Nations Security Council, United Nations Human Rights Council, Conference of the Parties and Small Island Nations, Lok Sabha, Directorate General of Civil Aviation, The Celestial Council, Historical Joint Crisis Committee, International Press, and Global Media Summit. The depth of discussion demonstrated that students had engaged in thorough research and critical thinking. This exchange of knowledge fostered innovation and highlighted the determination of the younger generation to bring positive change to the world.

The closing ceremony in the evening session was conducted in a grand manner, during which outstanding participants were honoured with awards. The Convenor of MUN-2026 and Senior Principal of CMS Rajajipuram Campus I, Nisha Pandey, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants. She stated that the conference clearly reflects the strong will of the younger generation to innovate and contribute towards positive global change. She further expressed confidence that such initiatives inspire students to work towards a world marked by unity, peace, and harmony.
